I managed to snag a fantastic second-hand copy. Mine's been problem-free, unlike what others have mentioned. The sound quality is amazing, really brings the music to life. It's got the KPG etching in the deadwax, which is a nice touch. I'm a huge Kevin Gray fan, can't get enough of his work. Plus, it comes with a lyrics sheet, which is pretty much essential (Justin Vernon's singing's a bit hard to make out, to be honest).
This album's pressing is absolutely awful. There's constant static, and the mastering is just plain bad. It's a really poor quality pressing that you can easily find on Amazon. I'm shocked this isn't some kind of bootleg copy.

Never have I come across an indie-folk album that tops this one. The guitar work is absolutely stunning, the lyrics are a delight, and the vocals are uniquely captivating.
I'm curious to find out how to obtain a decent pressing. I'm experiencing the same brushing noise and can barely enjoy this album due to it anymore.
