Most of the songs seem to be tuned higher, with the exception of side B and side F. There's quite a bit of surface noise and large gaps between tracks, which mess up the flow in EA. Apart from that, the sound quality is quite decent.
I was considering purchasing the repress, but I spotted it on the wall at Amoeba Hollywood. I visit there weekly, and last time they had a ton of fun stuff by Young Thug, which I snatched up. Vinyls just make rap albums so much better than digital, and this is no exception. The sleeve is decent, but it would've been awesome to have a poster of the original cover. If you're a fan of VS The World 2, this is definitely worth it.
I don't get why they put more work into this than the 60 buck RSD one?😂 makes no sense
Without a doubt, this is the poorest quality CD I've ever purchased. I'd have sworn it was a counterfeit if you'd told me so. The jewel case is truly subpar, not your typical 2-CD case that you'd find elsewhere. It gives off a cheap vibe and feels like it was hastily assembled. The Eternal Atake disc even had smudges on it! And the booklet wasn't folded right. It's such a letdown because I'm a huge fan of this project, but they clearly cut corners here. Plus, it's only pressed in the US, so I ended up paying £20 in total.
It's a tad quicker on certain tracks (likely around 1.25x), but apart from that, it's quite decent. If your turntable's got pitch control, you're good to go. Otherwise, I'd only suggest getting this if you're into collecting.
