Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
I've just gotten my hands on this RSD 2020 edition, and I must say, it's absolutely worth every cent. Sure, it's a bit pricey, but if you're reading this, you're likely a dedicated collector who doesn't mind paying a premium for a unique piece. Sound-wise, this Jackpot pressing is sheer perfection. It's rich, warm, and completely silent, even during the softer parts. No doubt about it, this is an audiophile-grade pressing. The Prophecy Theme has never sounded better to me. Not a single hiccup or skip to be found. The record arrived in pristine condition, no smudges or static, which is always a plus. The cover is identical to the original release, and like the original, it's a simple one-piece sleeve. A gatefold would've been a nice touch for this special edition. It comes with an okay poster, the same image as the cover. But the standout feature is the stunning marble orange color of the vinyl. It's truly mesmerizing and transports you right to the deserts of Arrakis. All things considered, this is a must-have for any serious collector. You won't regret it. Go ahead and buy with complete confidence.
This album has a certain magic to it. All the parts fit and function, even though they seemingly shouldn't.
Amazing Japanese release, comes with obi. My most loved cover. The original '1984' version. Sound quality is flawless, music is out of this world!
Translated automatically,Sonically, this is the ultimate version, hands down. Wow. The Japanese release is the only one that even comes close.
This is an amazing pressing of a legendary soundtrack. If you couldn't grab the limited Record Store Day spice orange version from 2020, this release seems to be the same, except for the vinyl color and the cost. The poster is even thrown in, if that's something you care about. Otherwise, it's a great black vinyl version from Jackpot, which is becoming my go-to label for vinyl reissues.
