Product Description

Sum 41's "Does This Look Infected?" is a high-energy, fast-paced album that perfectly captures the essence of pop punk, punk, and skate punk genres. Released on January 1, 2002, under Island Records, this album is a testament to Sum 41's raw talent and ability to create infectious, catchy tunes that resonate with fans of punk rock.

Clocking in at just over 31 minutes, this album is a whirlwind of powerful vocals, driving guitar riffs, and pounding drums. Tracks like "The Hell Song" and "Over My Head (Better Off Dead)" showcase Sum 41's knack for writing anthems that are both aggressive and melodic. Meanwhile, songs like "Still Waiting" and "No Brains" highlight the band's ability to craft punk rock songs that are both politically charged and socially conscious.

  • Audio Great, Skip SRC

Audio is fantastic, but it's not mastered with the SRC, praise the LORD they released a Vinyl version without it.

  • Album Cover Peeling Twice

I haven’t given this album a listen just yet. But I’ve run into some problems with it already. The album cover has come unglued not once, but twice, right as I opened the package. It’s starting to feel like a recurring issue.

  • Wild Packaging, Great Sound

    5 out of 5 stars

The packaging is absolutely wild, massive lyric book included. The record's appearance is a total disaster, but man, it sounds incredible.

  • Vinyl Sounds Best

    5 out of 5 stars
    camukb524 June 2025United States🇺🇸

Having this album on CD and digital, I always found it to sound a bit thin and squashed. That being said, the vinyl version is definitely the best sounding of the three. Deryck's voice is a tad thin, but the rest of the instruments sound fantastic! The separation is pretty good, the drums hit hard, and the guitar is thicccc! And let's not forget, it looks amazing - the packaging is top-notch!
