Gonzalo Rubalcaba, the Cuban jazz pianist and composer, is a virtuoso who seamlessly blends the rich traditions of Cuban and American jazz into a captivating, modern sound. Born into a musical dynasty in Havana on May 27, 1963, Rubalcaba's lineage includes his grandfather, the renowned bandleader and composer Jacobo Rubalcaba, and his father, Guillermo Rubalcaba. Discovered by Dizzy Gillespie at a young age, Rubalcaba has since become a multi-GRAMMY®️ winner celebrated for his boundless technique and extraordinary versatility. Based in Florida, USA, he continues to thrill audiences with his Latin-infused performances, teaching at the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami. With a career spanning decades, Rubalcaba's music is a testament to his deep roots and innovative spirit, making him a standout figure in the world of jazz.
