My version runs perfectly! I've forever adored this edition.
Once again, the first UK release and it's an amazing sounding album - accurate, powerful, and impactful
I believe the etchings on the ID part are reversed for this particular release. Side A is marked as SMAS-1-3418-Z6 #3 and Side B as SMAS-2-3418-Z13. It's not the other way round.
I'm not certain all of these are the same, but mine has a Green Apple label on one side and a sliced white Apple on the other.
I don't usually leave comments about albums, but I couldn't let this one slide. This is an amazing album. Each track transitions into the next so seamlessly, and I think the production is exceptional (need I mention "Bye Bye Love"?). I believe all the criticism this record received is just because it's such a change from anything George had done previously. It appealed to a different audience compared to his Beatles' and "All Things Must Pass" work. I'm definitely a fan of this album. I reckon it's one of the best ever made.
