This is a great album, and I really like the animal breakdown on the back about the Cultosaurus Erectus. My copy has the gold foil promo stamp on the back, but the label is the usual Columbia red. I'd definitely grab it again for around $12-15.
Excellent pressing here. Might not impress your audiophile buddies, but every instrument is easily audible. The bass guitar really stands out and packs a punch. Drums are present, though the cymbals and hi-hat could be more noticeable. Virtually no S/N, which is a plus. Just barely missed out on a 4-star rating.

Man, this album sounds fantastic. It's got a great dynamic range and actually packs some bass, unlike that other album by the same producer, 'Fire Of Unknown Origin', which was a bit weak. People who skip this one just because it's not one of the big hits are really missing out. Sure, it's not a full-on return to rock, but it's definitely a fun, rocking album. There's still that pop vibe and a fair bit of new wave influence in these tracks. It's been said before, but it's worth repeating - these guys are incredibly talented musicians and don't get the recognition they deserve.
Man, this album sounds fantastic. It's got a great dynamic range and actually packs some bass, which is more than I can say for the next one, 'Fire Of Unknown Origin', produced by the same guy. If you're skipping this album because it's not one of their biggest hits, you're really missing out. Sure, it's not a full-on return to rock, but it's definitely a fun, rockin' record. There's still a pop vibe and a fair bit of new wave influence in these songs. I know it's been said before, but it's true. These guys just don't get the credit they deserve for being such incredibly talented musicians.
