  I decided to purchase this version after checking out the reviews here. Let me start by saying, I used to own the original, and my current copy is a super clean Brazilian pressing from the 80s. The cover's a spot-on replica of the original, except for Chico's photo which is a tad pixelated. The fonts and logo are printed really well, nice and sharp. Now, about the sound, I reckon the stereo mix on this one is way better than my old 80s pressing. The original mix's stereo isn't quite centered, it leans more to the right channel, which sometimes causes minor distortions on the left. This new mix, though, it's got a steadier, more solid and centered sound. All in all, I'm digging this new version more, it's just more enjoyable to listen to. Oh, and about the pressing: the record's silent and centered, but it was totally warped, had to unwarp it myself...

  Without a doubt, the top Brazilian album I've ever heard. The pressing is absolutely infectious with its groove. This track truly showcases the mastery Brazilians achieved in crafting records like these. Menescal is nothing short of a legend. // Sem dúvida, o melhor disco brasileiro que já ouvi. A prensagem é simplesmente contagiante com seu groove. Essa música realmente demonstra o domínio que os brasileiros alcançaram na criação de discos assim. Menescal é uma lenda, sem mais.
