Growing up, my parent would always play this album during Christmas. So, on a trip down memory lane, I decided to buy a copy for myself. It's just as wonderful as I remembered! The sound quality is warm, clear, and incredibly lifelike - it's a joy to listen to on a good sound system with the volume cranked up. As a kid, I loved it, and now, years later and as a record producer, I can truly appreciate it, even though it's not usually my go-to genre. The sly inclusion of what sounds like a Roland CR78 on a few tracks is a nice touch, adding a fun twist to the overall sound.
Growing up, I always had this playing at Christmas with my folks. So, on a bit of a nostalgia trip, I decided to get my own copy. And let me tell you, it's just as good as I remember! The sound quality is warm, clear, and incredibly lifelike - it's brilliant when you crank up the volume on a decent sound system. As a kid, I loved it, and now, years later and as a record producer myself, I can truly appreciate it, even though it's not usually my cup of tea. The cheeky addition of what sounds like a Roland CR78 on a couple of tracks really adds a nice twist to the overall sound.
