I've got both versions of this album, 'cause it's truly an outstanding record. You'll find No Wave at its finest here. It's filled with instrumental, tormented soundscapes crafted from polyrhythmic frenzy and electric string harmonics, geometric jazz patterns, and creative instrument manipulation by a group of brilliant, distinctive musicians, plus three of the most incredible NYC drummers of our time. If you're a fan of No Wave artists like Glenn Branca, Rhys Chatham, DNA, or even Arnold Dreyblatt, this record is an absolute must-have.
