Fantastic Vinyl. Sounds soft and the tunes are crisp and full of life. Went above and beyond what I thought it would be.
As expected, mine arrived with a tear at the top :/
In my opinion, this album sounds fantastic to me. Every Lumineers record has been a joy to listen to, and this one is no different. They've simplified their sound this time around, keeping things minimal in many parts. But don't let that fool you, some tracks really build up beautifully. The harmonies are absolutely gorgeous on a few occasions too. The songwriting is top-notch, with each song telling its own story. The lyrics are great throughout, and I can genuinely say there isn't a weak track here. I'm really glad they included a reprise, and the way the album transitions from Remington into the reprise makes it feel like one continuous song. It's an amazing album.
This colored vinyl is the best sounding one I've ever listened to. It's absolutely flawless. The sound is incredibly clear and crisp.
This vinyl record is truly a solid piece, with a substantial weight, a perfectly flat surface, and a well-centered hole. The pressing quality is a tad better than what you'd typically find these days - there are minor patches of surface noise and a couple of very faint nonfill spots. These imperfections are barely noticeable, unless you're listening to softer music like acoustic guitar or piano tracks. It's marketed as being mastered for vinyl, but it's not extraordinary; the sound seems a bit thin to my ears. Plus, it was supposed to come with a download, but mine didn't, which is a bit disappointing. The album itself is quite enjoyable. In my opinion, Schultz is an incredibly talented artist, and this album reminds me of Cleopatra at times, which is a compliment.
