  • Sizzla's Vinyl Masterpiece

    5 out of 5 stars
    EdvaqnFfukiWJ8 January 2026United Kingdom🇬🇧

Sizzla and Mista Savona have truly outdone themselves with this fantastic release, and I'm over the moon to finally see it on vinyl! The main album is packed with powerful, infectious, and lively tracks, showcasing some of Sizzla's finest work in the past ten years. Plus, the bonus material on this double LP is a must-have. The acoustic renditions of the earlier songs are incredibly impressive, with every musician delivering their best. The pressing is top-notch too, with zero issues during playback. I can't recommend it enough!

  • Sizzla's Fall from Grace

    2 out of 5 stars

Born A King", "Champion Sound"; Sizzla shines on some tracks, but on too many like "Set It Off" he totally messes up. Weak lyrics that don't match the riddim's vibe. And he even struggles to keep his rhythm there. Sadly, that's typical Sizzla these days. The careless, unpolished approach. Can't figure out how he's been off for so long. At 39, why's he still spouting these immature lyrics like he can't tackle bigger themes. He doesn't sound like a father figure, a leader, a veteran. His timing ruins "Big Man Ting". His laid-back style doesn't feel genuine anymore, lost its punch, even from him. Then "Why Does The World Cry" shows he relies too much on his licks and falsetto. Like so many songs he's done in the past decade. Doesn't showcase the incredible singing he used to be capable of. The production's solid, Sizzla's lame, again, way too often. A king has fallen, and it's been a while.

Sizzla and Mista Savona have truly outdone themselves with this fantastic album, and it's about time it's available on vinyl! The main tracks are packed with energy, catchy tunes, and some of Sizzla's best work in years. Plus, the extra content on this double LP is just as essential. The acoustic versions of the earlier songs are incredibly well-executed by all the musicians. The pressing is top-notch, with no issues in play. I can't recommend it enough!
