Taped in the 40s, so miracles in sound quality shouldn't be expected. Particularly in the first track, it's packed with clicks and pops. It's an AAD recording. However, things get better from the second track onwards and it's not unenjoyable to listen to. Regarding the content, I personally think it's fantastic. A mere 16-year-old Previn crafting phrases of a Jazz virtuoso. Extremely original and genuine lines from the era of pure jazz. Features a fantastic solo rendition of "Body and Soul". The original recording's flaws are overshadowed by its excellence. Includes a brief insert with an explanation of the pieces.
