• Disappointing Cover Art

  The sound quality of this pressing is quite nice. However, the cover art is quite different from what was shown in the advertisement; there are no 'rainbow' stripes on the right side, and it's much darker, making them barely noticeable depending on the light. It's an incredible album, but I was somewhat let down by the overall release, it feels like it was done in a hurry.

  Mostly, the sound quality is great, though there's some surface noise lingering even after cleaning. But there are a few irritating things about this release. The album art is darker, missing the colors on the side, and the tracklist says 13 tracks, but 'We are God' is listed on side C when it's actually on D. There are also random silences between some tracks. I think the movie/skit scenes between tracks are meant as transitions, so they should've spliced them to the beginning of the next side's first track instead of just ending a side with a scene, like the one going into 'We are God' and an earlier side too. It feels like this was rushed, even though it was delayed a year, or like the people pressing it didn't care to check how it flows compared to the digital version. The album is a 5, but this release is like a 3.

  Amazing record pressing, super clean and level! The mix was definitly made for vinyl…No Excuses sounds awsome on it.

  I placed my order way back in JULY and finally got it today! Haven't had a chance to play it yet but wow, I can't believe I'm actually holding this. I thought I'd lost the money I spent, but fingers crossed it sounds amazing!

  This 24-bit version (Qobuz) is absolutely fantastic. You'll see why there's so many genres mentioned - this album has it all. Looking to give your subwoofer a workout? There's tracks for that. Feeling like floating on air on a beautiful summer's day? There's tunes for that too. Fancy getting caught up in some steamy lyrics? Oh yeah, it's top-notch!
