This 1963 live album is packed with energy, with a church-like feel at moments and a spirited vibe throughout... pure soul jazz soaked in blues. "A Thing For Jug" is an incredible performance, just like "Lonely Avenue". The stereo pressing from '63 sounds great, with the organ taking center stage, and my copy is in fantastic shape, both the cover and the record.
