This pressing and performance have revealed subtleties I'd never picked up on previously.

This record's sound stage is absolutely amazing! The stereo really stands out, especially with the orchestra and how the instruments are spaced out. The mix is mostly well done too. I did notice some harshness in the highs during the louder parts, but that might just be because of my not-so-great linear tracking turntable. I'll definitely have to try this out with a better one sometime.
There's a bit of pop scattered around, but it's not particularly noteworthy, and the background noise is quite bothersome, lingering all through the disc. However, side B is a significant improvement: it's more vivid, open, dynamic, and precise. Side A, on the other hand, still feels a tad closed off.
The sound on my version is dull, so I'm searching for a different one.
