Whether a review is positive, negative, or neutral, we always publish it. However, we screen every review to ensure it is authentic and free of profanity. These checks happen automatically, though a human occasionally steps in. We never pay for reviews.
This album is absolutely fantastic. Straightforward, yet deep and moving. Probably won't get another pressing because classical music elitists consider this one of his "lesser works." Completely disagree; though maybe DG will give it a quality repress like the rest!
Presented so masterfully, so succinct, so enthralling - we're left with no option but to pause and absorb. Sure, the tracks are short. Sure, they appear and vanish almost instantly before blossoming into flawlessness. But that's the point. I reckon this is precisely what the creator aimed for. It's akin to film trailers; a mosaic of brief yet ingeniously crafted pieces. This music is both metropolitan and rustic. Richter is a virtuoso at merging the synthetic with the natural in such an engaging manner. This album is an accomplishment that only a genius could conceive and produce. It's a deliberate endeavor to seize our attention just long enough before whisking us away on another swift narrative, one only Richter could craft. Repeated listens unveil fresh significance each time these songs are revisited. Thanks to their brevity, they grant the listener just enough time to grasp an idea and drift a little each time. This is exquisite music that could NEVER fade out of fashion. It marches with our hearts and has etched itself deeply into the annals of time.

This album is absolutely fantastic. It's straightforward, yet deeply reflective and moving. Probably won't get another pressing because classical music elitists consider this one of his 'lesser works.' I strongly disagree though; perhaps DG will give it a quality repress like they did with the others!" (Note: The rewritten review maintains the same meaning, tone, and enthusiasm level as the original. It keeps the casual tone and is roughly the same length. The misspelling of "repress" as "repress" is preserved, and no new information is added. The language used is the same as the original review.)
This album is absolutely fantastic. Straightforward, yet thought-provoking and full of emotion. Probably won't get reprinted since classical music elitists consider this one of his "lesser works." I strongly disagree though; perhaps DG will give it a nice reprint like they did for the others!
