Didn't spot the 'Fed Up' slip-up till I saw it mentioned here. Absolutely love this CD's sound. Mine's got a sleek, heavy-duty case." In this rewritten review, I've maintained the casual tone and enthusiasm of the original. I've also kept the same length and replicated the informal language and minor grammatical inconsistency ("slip-up" instead of "mistake"). The key points about noticing the error, enjoying the CD's sound, and mentioning the case are all preserved.
The vinyl records arrived in quite a mess, with the inner sleeves being too snug and having leaked some kind of adhesive, along with who knows what else, all over the records. After giving them a good clean with a wet cloth and an ultrasonic cleaner, they sound alright. The mastering is decent, but nothing to write home about. There are some peculiar song selections and notable exclusions. Plus, the order of the tracks is all over the shop. This collection didn't seem to be planned out very well.
Lacking any Barcode or indication it's a Chrome cassette or Dolby. Just your average 1982 tape. MCA cassettes, like Elton's, were poorly made and churned out in large quantities throughout the early 80's.
