This pressing's sound quality is absolutely flawless. I can pick up on every subtle nuance in her vocals and the little extras layered into the beats of each track. The artwork is top-notch too, with a super shiny record cover and stunning inner sleeves. Plus, the blue vinyl is simply stunning and complements the album perfectly.
In my opinion, the vinyl edition of this album sounds absolutely amazing. It's incredibly atmospheric and detailed, doing a great job of preserving the original audio. However, I must mention that my copy has quite a bit of hiss and crackles, largely because of a long scratch that runs across the record (it was like that when I took it out of the box). I'm not sure if I need to give it a good clean or if I just received a faulty pressing, just thought I'd share my thoughts.
Upon attempting to remove the record that was wedged so snugly into the paper inner sleeve, I ended up with scratches all over its surface due to the grimy inners. What a letdown! I decided to order a replacement and this time, I was extra cautious while handling it. Thankfully, it worked out, and I promptly transferred the record into a poly inner! Heads up to fellow buyers!
I see where some folks are coming from; there's a lot of songs packed onto this one LP, and because of that, the music's quality seems to drop a bit towards the end (or at least it's more noticeable on the later songs). There's also some clicks and pops scattered throughout, but all things considered, I'd say my copy is pretty decent compared to what others might've received. It's not the greatest record even in the best conditions, but I'd still say it's worth grabbing if you ever come across it for a fair price. If you're not a hardcore audiophile, you probably won't even catch what's bothering everyone else.
