  At last, we have the UNCUT versions of these songs on vinyl, spread across 2 discs for the best sound quality. The overly compressed sound on the original LP release didn't do this incredible music justice. That being said, I do have quite a bit of annoying surface noise on the "Interlude: Livin'...In Complete Darkness" outro. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

  Fantastic new release! The gatefold is really nice with some solid artwork. The pressing is great and the sound quality is top-notch. It sounds way better than my original single LP version from 1989. My copy doesn't have that non-fill issue. I'm really happy with this reissue.

  Finally, this album is on vinyl in its original, unaltered form, and I couldn't be happier. The gatefold includes lyrics for every track, which is a nice touch. I'm not an audio expert, but I know what pleases my ears, and this definitely does. There's no surface noise, not even between songs. For recordings that are 30 years old, this is better than I expected.

  I picked up a brand new, sealed copy of this edition because my original from the year it came out didn't sound all that great. And let me tell you, this pressing sounds like an entirely different experience!!!! It's mastered so well, with so many layers and such dynamic audio. Do yourself a favor and grab this masterpiece for your collection!

  Awesome pressing. You can't hear any noise on the vinyl at all. I requested the black vinyl around a month back, but I received this Silver version instead, which was a pleasant surprise. The dynamics, I'd say, are a bit lacking compared to the CD, it doesn't have that punch that the CD has, but overall still sounds amazing. Note: My copy doesn't have the "coloured vinyl" sticker on the front.
