Back then, Herbert Grönemeyer just wanted to keep up with the times, which led to this remix album. The basic idea isn't bad, but why include four versions of "Morgenrot"? Especially since, apart from the length, there's hardly any difference between the first two songs/remixes. By the way, the first one is Trance by Felix J. Gauder, who also produces the techno band Das Modul - no comment. The third remix is indeed harder, hence the title "Hard Mix," and is by the later producers of Scatman John: Tony Catania and Ingo Kays. The fourth track, "Dance Chaos (Stoned Mix)," comes with a heavy bass. Behind the pseudonym MATIZ/AC 16, by the way, hides the dance music legend Alex Christensen, better known as U96. The next two remixes of "Land unter" almost fade into the background, especially the added rap is totally unnecessary. Good old techno was then mixed into the song "Die Härte." To finish, there's "Morgenrot" again, this time with lots of bass. Conclusion: Quite nice to listen to, but playing the album twice in a row quickly becomes annoying.
