Eduard Nápravnik

He became a pivotal figure in Russian musical life, notably as the Principal Conductor of the Mariinsky Theatre, where he oversaw the world premieres of operas by esteemed composers such as Dargomyzhsky, Rimsky-Korsakov, and Musorgsky. His contributions extended to his role as the conductor of the Russian Musical Society, succeeding Balakirev in 1869.
