Audun Sandvik

Audun Sandvik is a Norwegian cellist, born and raised in Bergen, who has captivated audiences with his exquisite performances. Playing a cello crafted in Rome in 1695 by Giorgio Tangingardo, Sandvik brings a rich, historic resonance to his music. As a professor of cello at the University of Tromsø – The Arctic University of Norway and a former teacher at the Norwegian Academy of Music, his dedication to the art form is evident. Currently, he serves as an associate professor at the Grieg Academy, University of Bergen, and performs with the Norwegian Chamber Orchestra.
