Wow, my copy sounds incredible! I cleaned it up before spinning any records and I'm super happy with it. It's warm and full all the way through. I'm running it on a Sony PSx6 with a Shure M97xe and a Jico Ruby Sas stylus.
The audio is pleasant, but I wish the bass had more punch.
Oh, this album is an absolute treasure! A top-notch pressing of a must-have record, it's leagues ahead of the first release. The vinyl's so quiet, you'd think it was just plucked from the factory. The mastering's crisp and clear up top, with a powerful, punchy bottom end. Grab it ASAP. Let's crank it up and rattle those speakers!
The audio quality is quite impressive on my setup, (Music Hall MMF-7, Goldring Eroica with Soundsmith enhancements). I didn't notice any harshness or interference. The volume could be a tad louder, perhaps.
When I opened the package, my record had some static, was a bit grimy, and had a couple of tiny dents near the inner grooves. Luckily, after giving it a good clean, those imperfections weren't noticeable when playing. My record isn't warped, either. It's not a high-end audiophile pressing, but the sound quality is pretty decent overall.
