About Samuel Blais

Samuel "Sammy" Blais is a dynamic Canadian professional ice hockey forward, currently showcasing his skills with the Abbotsford Canucks in the American Hockey League (AHL). Born on June 17, 1996, in Montmagny, Quebec, Blais stands at an impressive 6-2 (188 cm) and weighs 206 lbs (93 kg), making him a formidable presence on the ice. Drafted by the St. Louis Blues in the sixth round of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft, Blais has also had stints with the Blues and the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League (NHL). Known for his aggressive forechecking and physical play, Blais is a versatile forward who can effectively play on either wing. His career highlights include winning the Stanley Cup with the St. Louis Blues in 2019 and representing Canada at the 2023 World Championship. Blais's journey from junior hockey to the NHL is a testament to his dedication and talent, making him a player to watch in the world of professional hockey.
