Product description

Discover the captivating world of chamber music through the exceptional talent of violinist Břetislav Ludvík in this 1972 release. The album presents a delightful blend of compositions from three notable Czech composers: Ladislav Vycpálek, Jaroslav Lucký, and Václav Krejčí. The journey begins with Vycpálek's Sonatina for Violin and Piano, Op. 26, showcasing a harmonious interplay between the instruments, followed by the evocative Con moto. Lucký's Sonata for Violin Solo offers a solo performance that highlights Ludvík's technical prowess and expressive depth, with movements ranging from the resolute first to the lively Presto finale. Krejčí's Four Pieces for Violin and Piano provide a charming conclusion, featuring a mix of moods and tempos, from the playful Vivace to the delicate Aria and the spirited Scherzino and Molto vivace e leggiero.
