This pressing is really good, nice and flat with no noise, and mine has no flaws. However, when it comes to clarity and soundstage, it's just a tad better than streaming.
Was there a poster included in anyone else's copy? I remember getting one with Contra and MVOTC, but there wasn't any with this game.
Overall, my copy's quality is quite decent, but there's a catch – side B has some minor scratches that mess up the final three tracks, particularly "Walcott". On the plus side, the download is in FLAC format.
Upon thorough cleaning, this record has a fair bit of surface hiss. It also comes across as quite "boxy" compared to the CD version. Not a very impressive pressing, to be honest.
From start to finish, this is an enjoyable listen. The quality of the pressing is excellent, and there's not a single thing I'd critique—it's a minimalist release that perfectly complements the songs featured.
