Truly amazing- the sound stage, spaciousness and openness lets the layers of intrstuemtation space to breath
The audio quality is decent, but it's missing quite a bit of gain and sounds a tad flat. To truly enjoy it and catch all the subtleties, you'll need to crank up the volume quite a bit.
I own this album, and it's just like the one described here. The only difference is that my copy has the OBI strip running along the top edge, not the usual sash style. Has anyone else come across this version? I can confirm it's genuine because everything else matches perfectly - the mastering, the catalog number, you name it. It's got the inner lyric sheet with English on one side and the same pictures on the other. Plus, there's a Japanese postcard to order three more Toto albums.
The noise from the surface of my vinyl is quite noticeable and bothersome. Additionally, there's a tiny piece of paper trapped inside, which I believe got in there during the manufacturing process.
In a few places, there's that annoying inner groove noise, which is super frustrating since the rest of the album sounds amazing. I've tried cleaning it a few times, but nothing's worked so far.
