Great mix and master, pressing is pretty good too. No regrets, go for it!
Translated automatically,This album is quite enjoyable and, in my opinion, underrated. The pressing quality is solid, the sound is pleasing, with a spacious soundstage and good dynamics. It's a flat pressing. Balthazar, hailing from Belgium, is an indie pop/rock band comprising Maarten Devoldere, Jinte Deprez, Simon Casier, Michiel Balcaen, and Tijs Delbeke, all originally from Kortrijk and Ghent in Flanders. The band came together in the latter half of 2004. By spring 2005, Devoldere, Vanneste, and Deprez, then just 18, triumphed in the national Kunstbende competition for young talents with their track "Lost and Found".[1] That same year, on 3 December, they also clinched Westtalent, the rock contest of West Flanders, Belgium.[2] In 2006, Balthazar secured the Humo's Rock Rally Audience award, known as the "KBC Publieksprijs".[3] Their debut EP, self-titled, dropped in August. Early 2007 saw bassist Joachim Quartier and drummer Koen Verfaillie exit, replaced by Simon Casier and Christophe Claeys after sixty performances. July 2007 marked their appearance at the Dour Festival,[4] following the release of their first single "This Is a Flirt". The single gained traction on Radio 1 and Studio Brussel, lingering in the De Afrekening hitlist all summer, ultimately securing second place. February 2008 witnessed the release of their second single, "Bathroom Lovin': Situations", which charted on Humo, Hotlist, and De Afrekening. That summer, they performed at Folk Dranouter and Marktrock, among others, and began touring abroad in Germany, Switzerland, Netherlands, and France. The summer of 2009 saw Balthazar tour South Africa before starting work on their debut studio album, Applause. Upon their return home in late December 2009, the first single, "Fifteen Floors", was released. On 26 January 2015, Balthazar dropped the single "Then What", preceding their next album, Thin Walls. The album, released two months later, was well-received, topping Studio Brussel's Afrekening for four consecutive weeks.[10] For this album, the band collaborated with a producer for the first time, working with Ben Hillier, known for his work with Blur and Depeche Mode. Thin Walls was among the 19 records nominated for the IMPALA Album of the Year Award.[11] The Thin Walls tour spanned Europe, with Balthazar performing at major concert halls and festivals in Belgium, France, the Netherlands, United Kingdom, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, and Ukraine.
