Received this item today, but I'm returning it. The sound quality is terrible, it's quite tinny and muffled, plus there's an awful lot of surface noise. I'm hoping I just got a faulty one and not all of them are like this!EDIT: My version is actually a different pressing. It has one solid black and one solid off-white disc.Update: Yep, several copies are the same.
Sound quality is truly awful, with tons of distortion and crackling noises. Giving it a good clean didn't make much difference. I'm really let down after nearly 9 months of anticipation. The only saving grace is the packaging.
Absolutely worth the hold. This is simply amazing. Outstanding job all around.
Stunning tunes. It'd be great if they released this on CD since the vinyl's a bit spotty.
The quality of my copy is superb. There's hardly any surface noise, if there's any at all. It's an amazing score! I'm looking forward to hearing more from Carlos Rafael Rivera.
