2019's best rap EP, no contest. It'll be remembered as a true classic.
The music on this EP is fantastic, with all the legends delivering their best while Benny demonstrates why Griselda Records has become the new royalty of hip-hop. The narrative over ALC's beats on "5 to 50" is where Benny truly excels on this collaborative project, while 38 Spesh steals the show with his verse on "Sunday School" thanks to his clever biblical references. Black Thought deserves a shout-out for the history lesson he drops on "Crowns for Kings," and Jada's attitude on the previous track is just as impressive. This album also proves that DJ Shay is capable of much more than what he showed on "Fourth Rope." I was expecting "no cuts on the slaps," but I guess I'll let that slide.
