This album is absolutely one of my top favorites, and the sound quality on this version is fantastic. I'd definitely suggest giving it a listen!

I ain't listened to no other copies but it's tough to imagine a better one out there. The low bass hits you right in the gut, and the instruments are so clearly separated. I'm really pleased with this used vinyl I picked up.

  • Taj Mahal's Tight Groove

    4 out of 5 stars
    Uvaw_IJune 11, 2024United Kingdom🇬🇧

Taj Mahal's second album is still pretty solid, standing up well to his first one, with a stronger soul vibe. The sound is really tight too. It doesn't quite hit me as deeply as his self-titled debut, but it's got a killer groove most of the way through. A few tracks aren't as great, but there's so much goodness here that it's definitely worth adding to Taj's must-listen collection.

  • Taj Mahal's Best Album

    5 out of 5 stars
    hukdowa18May 7, 2024United States🇺🇸

In my opinion, Taj Mahal’s finest work is this album, though I wouldn't disagree if you prefer 'The Real Thing', the live record is superb. Both are simply amazing from start to finish. Sadly, my copy of this one skips a lot. I might need to grab a replacement, as I really miss enjoying it!
