Some tracks on this album are great, others not so much. The one I've got is pretty much perfect, except you gotta crank it up to max, no hiss when you do though, just feels a tad too quiet. The mix is really clear, you can hear each instrument and vocal distinctly, super crisp, no distortion whatsoever. As for the tunes, it's a bloody brilliant album, maybe not their best but definitely worth a spin.
Wow, this album is incredible. It's definitely among Biffy's finest work. I haven't had the chance to listen with headphones yet, but on my Genelec G3 active speakers, it sounds fantastic. I've been testing it with the Project classic + tube box ds.
Maybe not their finest hour, yet they're still on top of their game. These guys can really deliver when it counts. There's some truly touching moments, songs tackling serious issues and, as always, those epic riffs.
