Craft has put together this collection of Chet Baker's early records...His ABSOLUTELY, INCREDIBLY fantastic work...You can listen to him playing his smooth and gentle trumpet AND using his voice to create some of the most amazing vocal performances you'll ever encounter...His heavenly voice touches the very heart of your musical being...This was right in the midst of the jazz movement known as "West Coast Jazz" and Chet was leading the pack among a crowd of incredibly gifted jazz musicians...I've always been a massive fan of his singing but you can NEVER overlook this extraordinary talent on the trumpet...He was so young, so gifted...Unfortunately, he would later go down the wrong path that led to heroin addiction and a tough life for so many years...An American jazz legend, Chet Baker...
