The packaging is quite nice. However, the discs aren't very snug in their trays. The CDs themselves are top-notch and sound fantastic! It's my favorite collection to spin when I'm in the mood for this soundtrack.
Impressed by how peaceful my version is. Rarely happens with mondo pressings
The one I got was a bit bent, the red one in particular. Likely due to the way it's packed, but it doesn't mess with the sound quality at all.
Indeed, there's some surface noise right from the start (intentional wordplay?). I'll hold off on a full assessment until I give it a proper clean and then have a listen. At least it looks fantastic!
Still getting a bunch of surface noise even after cleaning it well. It's usually fine, but when you can hear it, it's REALLY loud. What a letdown.
