An excellently put-together lp-set, complete with enlightening liner notes. The vinyl records are lighter yet well-pressed, demonstrating that outstanding sound doesn't always need 180g pressings. The matrix codes hint at a pressing by Optimal in Germany. As for the music, it's absolutely breathtaking. Masterpieces indeed, non-negotiable classics.
Stunning boxset for a phenomenal artist and their music. Tango consistently brings the heat, thrilled to own it, this will surely become a prized possession down the line.
I'm thrilled to see a vinyl box set featuring three American Clavé Records reissues: Zero Hour, La Camorra, and The Rough Dancer and the Cyclical Night. I've been enjoying this fantastic music on CD for years, but these remastered versions by Greg Calbi at Sterling Sound are truly outstanding. I'd love to know where these 150g vinyl records were pressed because they sound incredibly quiet and the quality deserves recognition. I wholeheartedly recommend this set to anyone.
