Tartini, Albinoni, Nardini: Flute Concertos - Marzio Conti

Product description

Marzio Conti, a versatile artist known for his work both as a flutist and conductor, presents a captivating collection of Baroque and Classical flute concertos on this 1991 release. The album, "Tartini, Albinoni, Nardini: Flute Concertos," features the enchanting performances of Marzio Conti alongside the accomplished I Solisti Aquilani orchestra, conducted by Vittorio Antonellini. Spanning a concise yet engaging 59 minutes, this recording showcases the elegance and virtuosity of the flute in the works of three distinguished composers: Giuseppe Tartini, Tomaso Albinoni, and Meo Nardini.

The album opens with a trio of concertos by Giuseppe Tartini, each offering a distinct mood and tempo, from the serene Andante to the lively Presto. Following these are two sinfonias by Albinoni, demonstrating the composer's mastery of orchestral texture and melody. The album then presents a full concerto by Nardini, showcasing Conti's flair for the instrument. The final pieces are a delightful mix of sinfonias and concertos, blending the talents of all three composers and providing a rich tapestry of Baroque and Classical styles.

Recorded with the expertise of NAR International, this album is a testament to Marzio Conti's artistry and the timeless beauty of these flute concertos. Whether you're a seasoned classical music enthusiast or a newcomer to the genre, this collection offers a delightful exploration of the flute's expressive range and the composers' enduring legacies.
