About Endre Szervánszky

Endre Szervánszky, born on December 27, 1911, in Kistétény, Hungary, was a renowned composer and music educator, celebrated for his unique contributions to Hungarian music. A graduate of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, Szervánszky began his musical journey as a clarinetist before transitioning to composition. His works, such as his first string quartet composed at the age of 25 and his second, created two decades later, showcase his evolution and mastery of form and sound.
