Knut Reiersrud is a versatile Norwegian blues guitarist born in 1961, known for his unique fusion of blues, Norwegian traditional music, and African rhythms. With a career spanning over two decades, Reiersrud has shared the stage and recorded with a diverse range of artists, including David Lindley, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Rickie Lee Jones, and Nina Hagen. His collaborations extend globally, with notable partnerships with Middle Eastern performers like Rim Banna and Mahsa Vahdat. Reiersrud is also a respected radio presenter, hosting the blues program "BluesAsylet" on NRK P2 since 2004. As the lead guitarist and original member of Cloudberry Cream, he continues to captivate audiences with his dynamic performances and innovative musical style. His work is not just about music; it's about creating an experience that transcends cultural boundaries.
