Great and surprising collection that showcases just a tiny bit of Mr. Umilianis' endless legacy. Tiny bit not in a bad way, mind you! It actually highlights what a versatile and tireless talent he was and how challenging it is to capture such a remarkable artist on one small record. These tracks come straight from Omicron, Liuto, and Sound Work Shop labels tapes that were originally intended for scoring. Below is a list detailing the origins of the original compositions. Fortunately, a generous amount of unreleased material was included, which is a gift to the music-loving world. Kudos to Four Flies for demonstrating they are (one of) the top reissue labels for Italian music.
