Speakers Corner's pressing is absolutely fantastic. If you've experienced their audiophile mastering and quality pressings before, you'll see this LP is up to their usual high standards. The sound is fantastic, and it's a great reissue.
First Sonny Stitt album I've picked up. Fantastic copy, zero pops or ticks here.
I noticed Speakers Corner re-released this a few years ago, which I always found a bit strange since this is a decent but pretty standard album... this is a solid late '70s pressing. I'm a big fan of Speakers Corner, though... not entirely convinced it's worth splurging on an "upgrade" myself.
A must-have album in Sonny Stitt's collection. Fantastic homage to Byrd. As for this version of MOCD, it's worth noting that the sax has a slightly piercing tone, but overall, the sound quality is quite good.
