While not a AAA title, the audio is still top-notch. The wax is silent, and the mastering is superb!
Among those records, akin to Closer, that emerges from a deep, artistic abyss and chills the spirit. Not flawless, but it boasts some of Cohen's most powerful words.
Another fantastic album by Cohen. Surprisingly, there's not a single detail in the packaging about the tracks or the musicians!
The vinyl record is perfectly flat, well-centered, and has no surface noise. Ryan K Smith's mastering is top-notch - Leonard Cohen's vocals are clear and prominent, and the instruments are distinctly separated. I can't picture this album sounding any better than it does here. It's worth mentioning that, although not listed, the package also includes a 12 by 12 inch booklet with the lyrics.
