Hands down, this is my top pick for an album in 2022! Sure, it's the priciest vinyl I've ever bought new, but it's autographed by Yelawolf, which makes it totally worth it. The wax seal is such a cool detail, something you don't find on just any record. The sound quality on vinyl is absolutely flawless! No regrets here, I've been playing it non-stop since it arrived. I'm a huge Yelawolf fan, but this collab with Shooter Jennings is, by far, my favorite of his work.
The packaging for my order was solid, but Disc 1 is ridiculously warped, worst I've seen on heavyweight vinyl. Haven't spun it yet as it'd be a wild ride for the stylus, and I doubt it's salvageable. Disc 2 is fine, but this is another QC mess, just like my Mud Mouth copy that was skipping all over. Would return it, but international shipping makes it not worth the hassle.
In this day and age, it's truly baffling that albums like this one still come with those old-school paper or cardboard inner sleeves. And why on earth did they decide to release it as a double 45 rpm set, making it two thick, heavy records, when it could've easily fit on a single 33⅓ rpm LP? That's just confusing. But hey, let me tell you, the sound quality is absolutely fantastic, and I'm super happy I managed to grab it at a discount during a sale.
