Wow, this version is absolutely fantastic, incredibly well done. I'm pretty sure it wasn't recorded on 2" tape, considering it's from 2001-02 and digital was the go-to in studios back then. But what this release proves is how fantastic a digital recording can sound when it's mastered for vinyl. I've got the original CD of this album, and it just doesn't hold a candle to this version.

This is absolutely fantastic and comes with a gorgeous gatefold! So far, I haven't noticed much inner groove distortion; it plays smoothly until the end of each side. The orange color complements the album cover beautifully. I got lucky and snagged a new copy for just 33 euros a couple of days ago at a large store...the owner had no idea what it was actually worth at the time!

This vinyl record absolutely crushes the CD version, leaving it in the dust. I'm baffled by what Elektra was thinking when they released the CD, as it feels like they dialed down Six Degrees's power by half. Music on Vinyl cranked it up to 110%, with no distortion, clipping, or surface noise. The low ends are unstoppable, explosions are perfectly timed, and the dynamics are at an incredible 4K level. Drums hit like a heavyweight boxer, bass will leave you breathless, guitars will slice you to the core, keyboards will steal your soul, and vocals will hypnotize your ears. Looking for a vinyl to push your soundstage to its limits? Look no further!
