This is such an awesome project. I snagged my copy at a show close to home in Orlando, and it's signed by the artist himself. It's absolutely one of the most treasured pieces in my collection.
Amazing album release. One of the greatest live records. Flat, quiet, and powerful.
The cover unfolds, though it's not overly rigid. Yet, the colors are fantastic. It's a winning mix of live performance aesthetics and excellent sound quality. The bass is captured beautifully. The highs are more mellow than sharp. There's plenty of them, reminiscent of the artist's ECM label recordings. The dynamics are superb too. The album sounds wonderfully soothing. ps. Highly recomended.
Fantastic new release...I bought this straight from Pat's website...the 180gm discs are perfectly flat with super quiet surfaces! The mastering is top-notch, really bringing out the range of tones and the synth and guitar textures! Would definitely recommend. Made in Germany.
