Inspired by African drumming and gamelan, the marimbas here serve up both rhythm and melody. This music puts me in a chill state, perfect for focused listening or background reading. Fun fact: for a CD, it's got amazing dynamics, sounding like an analog recording that's been digitized without extra compression—no DDD recording here. I'd totally recommend it to anyone into this kind of music.
