Product description

Immerse yourself in the profound and serene world of Carl Rütti's "Requiem," a masterful addition to the choral repertoire, released in 2009 under the Naxos label. This 54-minute album showcases Rütti's distinctive compositional voice, blending modern classical sensibilities with timeless choral traditions. The album features seven meticulously crafted tracks, each a poignant exploration of life, loss, and the divine.

The "Requiem" is performed by an ensemble of exceptional talent, including the renowned Bach Choir, Southern Sinfonia, and soloists Olivia Robinson, Edward Price, and Jane Watts, all under the baton of conductor David Hill. The collaboration of these esteemed artists brings Rütti's score to life with breathtaking clarity and depth, making this recording a standout in the genre.

Rütti's choral works have garnered significant acclaim, particularly in England, where his pieces have found a dedicated following.
