About Arthur Rubinstein

Arthur Rubinstein, born in Łódź, Poland, in 1887, ascended to become one of the most iconic and celebrated pianists of the 20th century. Rubinstein's repertoire was vast, encompassing the works of masters such as Chopin, Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Liszt, Tchaikovsky, Saint-Saëns, and Schumann, among others. He was particularly renowned for his interpretations of Chopin's music, earning him the title of one of the greatest Chopin interpreters of his time. Rubinstein's career was marked by international acclaim, and he continued to perform until his final concert in Poland in 1975.
