Half the tracks are by the Grateful Dead, the other half by the Garcia Band. Every single one's a joy to listen to.
This album's dynamics are absolutely amazing. The production feels cozy and welcoming, making it one of Garcia's top solo albums. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone.
Awesome, cozy sound. Full, rich lows, beautiful sparkling highs. Right up there with the early Grateful Dead albums, both in track quality and audio quality.
The sound quality is fantastic, with no disturbances like pops, clicks, or surface noise. I'd describe the color as more purple with white swirls, rather than tie dye. Plus, it includes a really nice inner sleeve, reminiscent of a Mofi sleeve.
Nice pressing, it's flat and quiet, even though it only came with a paper inner sleeve. I don't have any other version to compare it to, but this one sounds really clear, especially Jerry's voice. It's a bit low in volume, but the dynamics are good.
