GZ Media, who have a bit of a mixed track record, pressed this one, but the copy I got is pretty decent with just a couple of tiny click/pop spots. Not a big deal for me at all. The mastering and recording are spot on, with a great dynamic range and perfect EQ for this "live" ZZ Top show. The bass is solid. The guys are on fire, so ZZ Top fans should definitely grab this album.
Whoa, Nelly. It sounds like it was captured in mono straight from the stage, perhaps using one of those vintage Sennheisers that bluegrass musicians favor. Kudos on the crisp, clean pressing. The band was absolutely killer! The card sleeve is alright, but it could use a proper liner. Only gripe is that they didn't include a photo booklet. A flawless farewell to Dusty. May you keep on truckin'.
The audio quality of this vinyl edition is fantastic! For me, this version sounds really great!👌👌👌
Translated automatically,The music is incredibly fantastic, and it's such a delight to have another album with Dusty, even if it's not another tour. This might just be my all-time favorite take on La Grange. In honor of the legendary Dusty Hill ❤️
The CD's audio quality is impressive (who knew it would be...) No issues to report. It's mastered perfectly, and the live album is fantastic.
